WHO WE ARE

Forte Demolition is a Registered Asbestos Abatement Specialist in accordance with the South African Department of Labour Asbestos Regulations (No.155 of 2002).

Founded in 2012 by husband and wife team, Edward and Marolize Gibbens, Forte Demolition has established itself as a market leader specialising in innovative turnkey demolition, remediation and asbestos abatement solutions; handling projects of all scales and complexity levels across South Africa.

Through a team of highly qualified engineering, occupational hygiene and safety experts, Forte Demolition boasts a wealth of industry-specific knowledge, skills and resources.

We insist on the continuous improvement of occupational health, safety and quality performance through the setting and reinforcement of safe behavioral goals, and taking into account evolving stakeholder expectations, best practices, scientific knowledge and new technological developments.

All plants and equipment undergo strict inspection, including calibration, load testing and servicing, to ensure good condition and compliance with all relevant requirements, standards and legislation.

Quality workmanship of each activity, from commencement to completion, is closely monitored by Forte Demolition management. The utilisation of our internal qualified QA/QC ensures effective planning, implementation and quality monitoring of all workmanship according to the identified scope of work.

We make use of an integrated SHEQ Management System for the procedural control and compliance of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. We embrace the following standards:
